Taideyliopiston ylioppilaskunta hakee Vapaan taiteen tilan koordinaattoria

Taideyliopiston ylioppilaskunta hakee uutta Vapaan taiteen tilan koordinaattoria osa-aikaiseen työsuhteeseen 8.5.2023 alkaen tai sopimuksen mukaan mahdollisimman pian. Työsopimus solmitaan määräaikaisena 31.12.2023 asti, mutta sopimusta pyritään mahdollisuuksien mukaan jatkamaan tilan rahoituksen jatkuessa.

Vapaan taiteen tila on Taideyliopiston opiskelijoiden taidetila, joka toimii tällä hetkellä Katri Valan puiston väestönsuojassa Sörnäisissä. Tilan toimintaa pyörittää Taideyliopiston ylioppilaskunta ja sen rahoituksesta vastaa Taideyliopisto. Vuodesta 2013 toiminut Vapaan taiteen tila toimii sateenvarjona ja konkreettisina seininä erilaisille opiskelijoiden taideprojekteille, kuten esityksille, keikoille, galleriatoiminnalle, konserteille, iltamille, workshopeille ja muille kokoontumisille. Perusperiaatteena on, että tilassa tehtävän taiteen laatua ja sisältöä ei mikään taidekomitea etukäteen arvota.

Vapaan taiteen tilan koordinaattori vastaa tilan käytännön toiminnan pyörittämisestä. Pääasiallisia työtehtäviä ovat varausten vastaanottaminen ja hallinta, tilan yleisen kunnon ja kaluston hoitaminen sekä niiden käytön opastaminen, kulukorvausten maksaminen, nettisivujen ja sosiaalisen median profiilien ylläpito, tapahtumista tiedottamisessa auttaminen sekä tilan käyttäjien ja omistajien kanssa kommunikoiminen. Koordinaattori tekee yhteistyötä ylioppilaskunnan hallituksen ja muiden työntekijöiden kanssa, ja hänen esihenkilönään toimii ylioppilaskunnan pääsihteeri.

  • kokemus ylioppilaskuntatoiminnasta

Tehtävä edellyttää riittävää suomen ja englannin kielen taitoa, minkä lisäksi ruotsin kielen taidosta on etua.

Vapaan taiteen tilan koordinaattorin työaika on lähtökohtaisesti keskimäärin 22,5 h viikossa (60 %) ja sen jakautuminen on sovittavissa joustavasti. Tehtävän peruspalkka on ylioppilaskuntien työehtosopimuksen pohjalta 1 060,00 €/kk, jonka lisäksi maksetaan työehtosopimuksen mukaiset kokemus-, koulutus- ja kehittymislisät. Taideyliopiston ylioppilaskunnalle osoitetut vapaamuotoiset hakemukset ansioluetteloineen tulee toimittaa torstaihin 27.4. klo 10 mennessä osoitteeseen taiyo-paasihteeri@uniarts.fi. Osa hakijoista kutsutaan haastatteluun. Haastatteluihin kutsuttaville ilmoitetaan asiasta perjantaihin 28.4. klo 17 mennessä. Haastattelut pidetään keskiviikkona 3.5. Kaikille hakijoille ilmoitetaan valinnasta torstaina 4.5.

The University of the Arts Student Union is looking for a new coordinator of the Space for Free Arts (Vapaan taiteen tila)

The University of the Arts Student Union is looking for a new coordinator of the Space for Free Arts (Vapaan taiteen tila) for part-time employment as of 8.5.2023 or by agreement. The employment contract will be concluded for a fixed period until 31.12.2023, but the aim is to extend the contract as far as possible as the financing of the space continues.

Space for Free Arts is an event space for the students in the University of The Arts Helsinki to organize their exhibitions, concerts, performances and other events. The space is located in Katri Valan park’s shelter in the area of Sörnäinen, Helsinki. The operations of the space are run by the University of the Arts Student Union and it is funded by the University of the Arts Helsinki. The Space for Free Arts, which has been operating since 2013, serves as an umbrella and concrete walls for various student art projects, such as performances, gigs, gallery activities, concerts, evenings, workshops and other artistic events. The basic principle is that the quality and content of the art done in the space is not valued in advance by any art committee.

The coordinator of the Spade for Free Arts is responsible for running the practical operations of the space. The main tasks are receiving and managing reservations, taking care of the general condition of the space and its equipment, as well as instructing in their use, paying expenses, maintaining website and social media profiles, helping with information about events, and communicating with the users and owners of the space. The coordinator cooperates with the student union’s board and other employees, and their foreperson is the secretary general of the student union.

  • Competence and   can-do attitude related to the maintenance of the farm and its equipment
  • knowledge and/or studies in the field of arts and culture
  • experience in student union activities

The position requires sufficient knowledge of Finnish and English, in addition to which knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.

 

The working hours of the coordinator of the fSpace for Free Arts are, on average, 22.5 hours per week (60%) and its distribution can be agreed flexibly. Based on the collective agreement of the student unions, the basic salary for the position is 1,060.00 € per month, in addition to which experience, training and development allowances in accordance with the collective agreement are paid. The secretary general will be happy to provide further information on the salary of the position.

Some of the applicants are invited for an interview. Those invited to interviews will be notified by Friday April 28 at 5pm. The interviews will be held on Wednesday May 3.
