Kaksi musiikkiyhtyettä etsinnässä Vapaan taiteen tila pop up 2026 –tapahtumaan 12.6. ja 15.8.!
Taideyliopiston ylioppilaskunta TaiYo järjestää jälleen Taideyliopiston opiskelijoiden teoksista koostuvan Vapaan taiteen tila pop up –tapahtuman Kallion kesäkaduilla. Kesän 2026 pop up –tapahtumaviikko järjestetään 10.-16.8. Lisäksi TaiYo tuottaa kesäkatujen avajaisohjelman Karhupuiston tapahtumalavalle Helsinki-päivänä 12.6.2026.
Täydennyshaussa etsimme kahta Taideyliopiston opiskelijoista koostuvaa musiikkiyhtyettä täydentämään ohjelmistoa. Toinen valituista yhtyeistä valitaan esiintymään 12.6. ja toinen 15.8. Esitystilana toimii Kallion Karhupuiston tapahtumalava.

- Yhtyeen ja jäsenten lyhyet esittelyt (yhteystiedot, akatemia ja opintolinja, opintojen vaihe, muuta?)
- Lista teoksen esittämiseen tarvittavasta kalustosta
- Teoksen tai ohjelmanumeron budjetti (taiteilijoiden palkkiot, materiaalikustannukset, logistiikka, laitevuokrat…)
- Halutessa kuva
Lähetä hakemus yhtenä PDF –tiedostona TaiYo:n pääsihteerille Jane Kärnälle osoitteeseen taiyo-paasihteeri@uniarts.fi sunnuntaihin 11.1. klo 23.59 mennessä. Kirjoita viestin otsikoksi Täydennyshaku/ Vapaan taiteen tila pop up 2026.
Lopullinen päätös ohjelmakokonaisuuteen valituista teosehdotuksista tehdään TaiYo:n hallituksen kokouksessa tammikuussa. Pyrimme ilmoittamaan kaikille hakijoille valinnoista 29.1. mennessä. Lopullinen varmistus Vapaan taiteen tila popupin toteutumisesta saadaan helmikuussa 2026 Helsingin kaupungin tehtyä päätöksen ohjelmakokonaisuudelle myönnettävästä rahoituksesta.
Inspiraatiota hakemuksen tekemiseen voi käydä ammentamassa esimerkiksi heinä-elokuun taitteessa 2025 järjestetyn pop up –tapahtuman markkinointimateriaaleista ja dokumentaatiosta Vapaan taiteen tilan instagramista @vapaantaiteentila.

Two music ensembles wanted for the Vapaan taiteen tila pop-up 2026 event on 12 June and 15 August!
University Of The Arts Student Union (TaiYo) is once again organizing Space for Free Arts pop-up event, featuring works by students of Uniarts Helsinki, on the summer streets of Kallio. The pop-up event week in summer 2026 will take place from 10–16 August. In addition, TaiYo will produce the opening program for the summer streets on the event stage in Karhupuisto on Helsinki Day, 12 June 2026.
In this supplementary open call, we are looking for two music ensembles composed of students of the Uniarts Helsinki to complete the program. One of the selected ensembles will perform on 12 June and the other on 15 August. The performance venue will be the Karhupuisto event stage in Kallio.
Please include with your application:
- Short introductions of the ensemble and its members (contact details, academy and degree program, stage of studies, other relevant information)
- A list of equipment required for the performance
- A budget for the work or program number (artist fees, material costs, logistics, equipment rental, etc.)
- An image (optional)
Please send the application as a single PDF file to TaiYo’s Secretary General, Jane Kärnä, at taiyo-paasihteeri@uniarts.fi by Sunday 11 January at 23:59. Use the subject line: Täydennyshaku / Vapaan taiteen tila pop up 2026.
The final decision on the works selected for the program will be made at a TaiYo board meeting in January. We aim to inform all applicants of the selections by 29 January. Final confirmation of the realization of the Space for Free Arts pop-up event will be received in February 2026, once the City of Helsinki has made its decision on funding for the program.
