Open call for the Vapis-working group!

Vapaan Taiteen Tila aka VTT or Vapis or the space for free arts is starting the process of founding a background organization for its operation and by applying you have a possibility to have an impact on the space and its future! We are now seeking members to the Vapis-working group and they will be the ones to navigate how the space will operate in the future!  Send your application by the 9th of December 23:59 via email to vapaantaiteentila@gmail.com

Vapis has a lot of changes in its future. Uniarts has given the green light to the continuum of its work but in the future, we have to find other means of funding alongside the university (cities, foundations etc.)

The first plans for action for this working group will be coming up with rules, policies and an action plan for acquiring funds and how to keep this active space operating. The working group will be working closely with the board of the Uniarts Student Union.

The working group will be elected before Christmas and start working in January. Personal experience of working in Vapaan taiteen tila, or in any board or organization in and out of the arts field will be seen as beneficial for the applicant. We hope that amongst the applicants there would be current students of Uniarts, alumni’s and others who are interested in developing the space.

If you want to be there to build the founding for VTT’s future but are still a bit unsure and have questions, feel free to send them to the coordinator of Vapaan Taiteen Tila:
