The first ever strategy of the University of the Arts Student Union was approved in the spring. The strategy outlines the long-term goals for ArtSU, but also its values. ArtSU’s values are Art, science and education, Ecological sustainability, Critical thinking and Sense of community and equality. In order to implement sense of community and equality, TaiYo has started to draw up an equality and equity plan.
TaiYo wants to create an equality and equity plan that looks like its community, so all TaiYo members are welcome to participate in drawing up the plan. There are opportunities to participate by participating in the steering group, answering a member survey in the spring or participating in workshops organised in the spring. There is a low threshold for all events: you can participate in all events or only individual workshops.
The project is led by expert Sini Kaartinen.
