TaiYo:n edustajisto on valinnut ylioppilaskunnan pääsihteerin sijaiseksi valtiotieteiden maisteri Jaakko Kalskeen. TaiYo:n pääsihteeri Ville Sinnemäki on perhevapaalla 16.11.2020-16.4.2021, ja Kalske toimii ylioppilaskunnan pääsihteerinä tämän ajan. Hän aloittaa perehtymisensä tehtävään jo marraskuun toisella viikolla ja luotsaa TaiYo:n toimintaa kaikkiaan vajaan puolen vuoden ajan.
Jaakko Kalske siirtyy TaiYo:on Helsingin yliopiston ylioppilaskunnasta, jossa hän työskentelee järjestöistä vastaavana asiantuntijana. Aiemmin hän on työskennellyt mm. Yhteiskunta-alan korkeakoulutetut ry:n opiskelija-asiamiehenä ja sen osana Suomen Yhteiskunta-alan Ylioppilaiden pääsihteerinä. Työkokemuksensa ja useissa oman alansa opiskelijajärjestöissä hoitamiensa luottamustehtävien myötä hän on monipuolinen opiskelijajärjestökentän osaaja, jolla on paljon pääsihteerin työn kannalta relevanttia osaamista.

Jaakko Kalske elected as ArtSU’s Deputy Secretary General
ArtSU’s Representative Council has elected Master of Political Science Jaakko Kalske as Deputy Secretary General of the Student Union. ArtSU’s Secretary General Ville Sinnemäki will be on family leave from 16 November 2020 to 16 April 2021, and Kalske will act as the Secretary General of the Student Union during this time. He will start his orientation period for the position already in the second week of November and will lead ArtSU’s activities for almost half a year.
Jaakko Kalske comes to ArtSU from the Student Union of the University of Helsinki, where he works as a specialist in charge of organizations. He has previously worked e.g. as a student ombudsman for the Social Science Professionals labor union and as a part of it as the Secretary General of the Assiciation of Finnish Social Science Students. With his work experience and the positions of trust he has held in several student organizations in his field, he is a versatile expert in the field of student organizations with a lot of expertise relevant to the work of the Secretary General.
