Legal Aid
ArtSU members are entitled to free assistance in their legal problems from the Legal Aid Committee of the University of Helsinki Law Students' Association Pykälä. The Legal Aid Committee provides its services by telephone, by email and in person. The Committee helps in all legal issues (except in taxation), advises on legal documentation and reviews ready-made documents. The Committee does not represent its clients in official matters and/or in a court of law and does not draft nor complete legal documents for its clients. The services of the Legal Aid Committee are free of charge.

Copyright Services
The Copyright Service of the Universities of the Arts provides services related to rights, design rights and trademarks under the Copyright Act to Aalto University and the University of the Arts Helsinki. The unit supports the utilization of innovations arising at Aalto University and the University of the Arts Helsinki in terms of copyright transfers and assignments of usage rights. The advisory service increases copyright knowledge at Aalto University and the University of the Arts Helsinki and helps university staff and students to find out about copyright issues that arise in their work.
Advice is given primarily by e-mail, but also in person or by telephone if necessary. The online material of the Copyright Service of the Universities of the Arts also provides answers to many questions raised by copyright in the creative fields.
