TaiYo:n hallitus on valinnut ylioppilaskunnan uudeksi j\u00e4senpalvelu- ja viestint\u00e4sihteeriksi filosofian maisteri Venla Luukan. H\u00e4n on jo aloittanut perehtymisen teht\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4ns\u00e4 ja vastaa ylioppilaskunnan j\u00e4senpalvelusta elokuusta alkaen toimiston avautuessa j\u00e4lleen 9.8. Uuden henkil\u00f6n rekrytointi ylioppilaskuntaan tuli ajankohtaiseksi j\u00e4senpalvelu- ja edunvalvontasihteeri Hannu Jaakkolan siirtyess\u00e4 muihin teht\u00e4viin elokuussa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
”Olen kokeillut monenlaisia t\u00f6it\u00e4 ja hommia, mutta sihteerity\u00f6t ovat jostakin syyst\u00e4 aina vet\u00e4neet puoleensa. Rakastan asioiden j\u00e4rjestyksess\u00e4 pit\u00e4mist\u00e4 ja muiden ihmisten auttamista, jos siis on pulmia tai mietint\u00f6j\u00e4 ylioppilaskunta-asioiden suhteen, tule kysym\u00e4\u00e4n minulta ja selvitet\u00e4\u00e4n asiat yhdess\u00e4!” kertoo uusi j\u00e4senpalvelu- ja viestint\u00e4sihteeri Venla Luukka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Helsingist\u00e4 kotoisin oleva Luukka siirtyy TaiYo:on opettajan teht\u00e4v\u00e4st\u00e4. Nykyist\u00e4 toimea vastaavaa aiempa kokemusta h\u00e4nell\u00e4 on esimerkiksi Suomen Ranskan-instituutista. Luukan viestinn\u00e4llisen osaamisen pohjalta hallitus p\u00e4\u00e4tti kohdentaa teht\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 my\u00f6s viestinn\u00e4n suuntaan, ja Luukan teht\u00e4v\u00e4nimikkeen\u00e4 on n\u00e4in j\u00e4senpalvelu- ja viestint\u00e4sihteeri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Helsingin yliopistosta valmistunut Luukka tuo TaiYo:on my\u00f6s talon ulkopuolista n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmaa. ”Taideyliopisto ja ylioppilaskuntatoiminta ovat minulle uusia ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6j\u00e4, mik\u00e4 innostaa valtavasti. On aina yht\u00e4 mielenkiintoista ja j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4 n\u00e4kem\u00e4\u00e4n, mit\u00e4 uusien ovien takaa l\u00f6ytyy. Eri taiteenalat, jotka Taideyliopisto kattojensa alle yhdist\u00e4\u00e4 \u2013 musiikki, kuvataiteet ja esitt\u00e4v\u00e4 taide \u2013 ovat kaikki l\u00e4hell\u00e4 syd\u00e4nt\u00e4ni ja on mahtavaa p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4 n\u00e4kem\u00e4\u00e4n, kuulemaan ja auttamaan uusia alojensa ammattilaisia. Uskon, ett\u00e4 tulen viihtym\u00e4\u00e4n.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Venla Luukka elected as ArtSU\u2019s Secretary of Member Services and Communications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n ArtSU\u2019s board has elected Master of Arts Venla Luukka as the Secretary of Member Services and Communications of the student union. She has already started her orientation period for the position and will be responsible of student union\u2019s member services when the office opens again on the 9th<\/sup> of August. The recruitment of a new person to the Student Union became topical when Hannu Jaakkola, Secretary for Member Services and Advocacy, will be employed elsewhere in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ”I’ve tried a lot of work, but for some reason the secretarial work has always attracted me. I love keeping things in order and helping other people, so if there are any problems on student union issues, come ask me and let\u2019s find things out together!” says Venla Luukka, the new Secretary for Member Services and Communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Luukka comes to ArtSU from a teacher\u2019s position and has previous experience for example at the Finnish institute in France. Based on Luukka’s communication expertise, the Board decided to focus on the task in the direction of communication as well, and Luukka’s position is thus the Secretary for Member Services and Communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Luukka, who graduated from the University of Helsinki, also brings new perspectives to ArtSU. ”The University of the Arts Helsinki and the student unions are new environments for me, which inspires me a lot. It’s always interesting and exciting to see what’s behind the new doors. The various art fields that the Uniarts Helsinki brings together are all close to my heart and it is awesome to get to see, hear and help new professionals in their fields.
