Kuten jotkut teist\u00e4 jo tiet\u00e4v\u00e4tkin, Taideyliopisto on t\u00e4n\u00e4 kev\u00e4\u00e4n\u00e4 yhten\u00e4ist\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4 rekrytointik\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6j\u00e4\u00e4n, ja esitys uudesta professorien ja lehtorien rekrytointiprosessista on akatemioissa kommentoitavana.<\/p>\n

Opiskelijoiden kannalta merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 esitetyss\u00e4 uudistuksessa on erityisesti se, ett\u00e4 opiskelijoiden asemaa ja vaikutusmahdollisuuksia opetus- ja tutkimushenkil\u00f6st\u00f6n rekrytoinneissa ollaan v\u00e4hent\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4 huomattavasti nykyisest\u00e4: opiskelijaedustajat rekrytointeja k\u00e4sittelevist\u00e4 ja p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6kset tekevist\u00e4 elimist\u00e4 poistuisivat kokonaan, ja opiskelijat voisivat osallistua en\u00e4\u00e4 vain opetusn\u00e4ytteiden arviointiryhmiin (joilla ei ole rekrytoinnin lopputulokseen mit\u00e4\u00e4n virallista p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6svaltaa). T\u00e4ll\u00e4 hetkell\u00e4 TeaKissa ja KuvAssa on opiskelijaedustus rekrytoinnin p\u00e4\u00e4tt\u00e4viss\u00e4 elimiss\u00e4 koko prosessin ajan, ja SibAssa on opiskelijaedustajia lopullista rekrytointiesityst\u00e4 kommentoivissa toimielimiss\u00e4.<\/p>\n

Students, do you want your voice to be heard in recruitments?<\/h3>\n

Greetings, student!<\/strong><\/p>\n

We would like to ask your help and opinion in a very important matter. As some of you might already know, Uniarts is unifying its policies on the recruitment of teaching personnel this spring, and the proposal for a new recruitment process is currently on a comment round in the academies.<\/p>\n

From the point of view of students, the biggest issue in the proposed process is that students\u2019 possibilities to make an impact on the recruitments of teaching staff would be much smaller than they are now: there would no longer be official student representatives in the committees that handle the recruitment process and make the decisions, and students could only take part in the groups evaluating the sample lectures given by the applicants (these evaluating groups have no decision-making power). Currently Teak and Kuva have official student representatives in the decision-making bodies throughout the recruitment process, and Siba has student representatives in bodies that can comment the final recruitment proposal.<\/p>\n

However, it is still possible to make an impact on the outcome of the renewal during the comment round. The Student Union Board wants to advocate the interests of students and form a comprehensive opinion about the matter. So we\u00b4re asking you:<\/p>\n
