Discussion on inappropriate treatment of students on 15 Dec<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Rector’s questionnaire of spring 2016 brought to light that 16 % of student respondents had come across inappropriate treatment from teachers and support staff. In response, the University leadership decided in October to set preventing inappropriate treatment and intervening when it happens as a uniting goal for the whole University.<\/p>\n
ArtSU supports this goal by organizing a discussion event for all University of the Arts students. The event will be held at the Agora space in the Music House on Thursday, 15 Dec at 1 PM. The discussion will be about what kind of treatment is acceptable to students and what is unacceptable. The results of the discussion will be brought to the University leadership and staff, who can use it for improving the treatment of students.
