TaiYo's Representative Council has elected Master of Arts Jane K\u00e4rn\u00e4n as the new Secretary General of the University of the Arts Student Union (TaiYo). She will start in her position in August and the current Secretary General Lauri Gr\u00fcnthal will continue to other tasks n in mid-August.<\/p>\n
K\u00e4rn\u00e4 joins TaiYo from AGMA, the Association of Agents and Managers in Creative Industries of Finland. K\u00e4rn\u00e4 graduated from the University of Helsinki, majoring in theatre studies, and she also studies communication sciences and human resource management at the University of Vaasa. K\u00e4rn\u00e4 worked as TaiYo's community coordinator in 2021\u20132022 and has broad and diverse experience in different areas of student union activities as well as in the arts and culture field.<\/p>\n
