Taideyliopiston ylioppilaskunnassa ylint\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6svaltaa k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 edustajisto, joka valitaan vaaleilla kahdeksi vuodeksi kerrallaan. Vaaleissa saavat \u00e4\u00e4nest\u00e4\u00e4 ja asettua ehdolle kaikki ylioppilaskunnan j\u00e4senet. Seuraavat edustajistovaalit k\u00e4yd\u00e4\u00e4n 2.\u20133.11.2021. Edustajistossa on 15 j\u00e4sent\u00e4 ja saman verran varaj\u00e4seni\u00e4, ja vaaleissa on k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 suhteellinen vaalitapa. In the University of the Arts Student Union the highest decision-making power is exercised by the Representative Council, which is elected by election for two years at a time. All members of the Student Union, ie all students of the University of the Arts Helsinki, may vote and stand for election. The next Representative Council elections will be held this fall, in the beginning of November. The Representative Council has 15 members and an equal number of vice members. The election uses a proportional electoral system and this fall, the election will be held for the first time by electronic vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Representative Council meets 4\u20136 times a year to decide on the most important issues of the Student Union, such as the amount of the membership fee, the use of funds, the objectives of operations and the election of the Student Union Board. Every member of the Student Union (registered as present or absent) can become a candidate in the Representative Council elections. I Konstuniversitetets studentk\u00e5r ut\u00f6var delegationen den h\u00f6gsta beslutander\u00e4tten. Delegationen v\u00e4ljs genom val f\u00f6r tv\u00e5 \u00e5r i taget. Alla medlemmar i studentk\u00e5ren f\u00e5r r\u00f6sta och st\u00e4lla upp p\u00e5 val. N\u00e4sta delegationsval kommer att h\u00e5llas i november 2021. Delegationen har 15 delegationsmedlemmar och lika m\u00e5nga suppleanter, och valet genomf\u00f6rs med det proportionella valsystemet. I h\u00f6st h\u00e5lls valet f\u00f6r f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen genom elektronisk omr\u00f6stning.

Delegationen sammantr\u00e4der 4\u20136 g\u00e5nger om \u00e5ret f\u00f6r att besluta om de viktigaste fr\u00e5gorna i studentk\u00e5ren, till exempel medlemsavgiftens storlek, anv\u00e4ndning av avgifter, m\u00e5len f\u00f6r verksamheten och val av studentk\u00e5rens styrelse.
