Make sure to thoroughly read through the University's instructions as well! Here are some reminders and tips:<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2705Accept your study place, register as present, and pay the TaiYo membership fee by 9 July 2026 at 3 pm. Detailed instructions for new students can be found on Uniarts' <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/student.uniarts.fi\/new-student\/\">website for new students.<\/a><\/span>, but the instructions for paying the membership fee can also be found <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/taiyo.fi\/en\/jasenille\/jasenmaksu\/\">here<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Get a place to live. You can get help for finding housing <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/taiyo.fi\/en\/jasenille\/asuminen\/\">here<\/a><\/span>. Also remember to submit a<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.posti.fi\/changeaddress\/\">notification of change of address<\/a><\/span>!<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udcb0Apply <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/taiyo.fi\/en\/jasenille\/opintotuki\/\">for student financial aid and the housing supplement (As a Finnish student)<\/a><\/span>. They are applied for electronically on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kela.fi\/opiskelijat-pikaopas\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Kela's<\/span><\/a> website, where you can also find detailed instructions for surviving in the financial aid jungle.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udcb3Download a digital student card or order a plastic student card! You can do this <a href=\"http:\/\/frank.fi\/en\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">via Frank App's website<\/span><\/a>. Please note that the delivery of the plastic student card may take a little while at the beginning of autumn, so in the meantime it\u2019s a good idea to also download the digital student card.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\ude8cCheck out the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/taiyo.fi\/en\/jasenille\/joukkoliikenne\/\">public transport<\/a> <\/span>in the Helsinki Metopolitan area. Get the HSL app and update your student status on there.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udf93Find out when your studies begin.
