How does the renting happen?

In your message, please state the following:

  1. Who are you?
  2. What do you want to rent?
  3. For what period do you want to rent te equipment?
  4. When would you be able to pickup and return the equipment? Pickup and return are possible within the office’s opening hours. Check office hours Contact Information-page.

PA-equipment

  • two powered speakers (JBL EON Power15) with stands
  • A mixing console with built-in looper (Soundcraft Spirit Folio FX8)
  • four dynamic microphones with stands
  • cords for microphones and speakers

Prices: The whole set 50 €/day or 60 € /weekend. You can also rent only parts of the equipment: speakers 20 €/day, mixer 20 €/day, microphone+stand 5€/piece/day. When you rent the equipment for a weekend, you must return it the following Monday morning.

Drumset

Pearl World Series: three toms and ride, crash and HiHat symbals.

Price: 20 € /day or 30 €/weekend.

PA-laitteiston ja rumpusetin vuokrausehdot

Lue varausehdot huolella, niin vältymme ongelmilta!

1. Käy läpi laitteiston vuokraussopimus tullessasi hakemaan tavaroita. MERKITSE sopimukseen, mitkä osat laitteistosta otat mukaasi!

2. Vuokraat laitteet siinä kunnossa kuin ne ovat. Laitteita vuokraa aktiivisesti hyvin vaihteleva käyttäjäjoukko ja laitteita sekä haetaan että palautetaan toimistoajan ulkopuolella. Tämän vuoksi ylioppilaskunnalla ei ole resursseja huoltaa ja tarkistaa laitteiston kuntoa/puuttuvia osia yms. jokaisen vuokrauskerran jälkeen.

3. Sinun vastuullasi on ilmoittaa laitteiston mahdollisista vioista ja puutteista. Otamme mielellään vastaan myös kehitysehdotuksia!

4. Vuokrahinnoista ei saa alennusta, jos vasta keikkapaikalla huomaat jonkin osan puuttuvan / ei toimivan ->  tarkista ja testaa laitteistoa hakiessasi, että kaikki on ok!

5. Olet korvausvelvollinen, jos jäljet katoamisista tai rikkoutumisista johtavat vuokrauskertaasi.

6. PA-kamat tulee palauttaa omille paikoilleen toimiston varastohuoneeseen. TaiYo veloittaa 15 euron siirtomaksun väärään paikkaan jätetyistä PA-kamoista.

7. Johdot tulee palauttaa siisteihin nippuihin kiedottuina, kaiuttimien virtajohdot johtolaatikossa päällimmäisenä.

Excursion equipment rental

The University of the Arts Student Union offers its members cheap camping equipment rental. There are three different package options:

  1. Small package
  1. Medium
  2. Large

*Other equipment includes:

  • Big thermos bottle (0,7 litres)
  • Small thermos bottle (0,5 litres)
  • Campfire pot (2,7 litres)
  • Campfire coffee pan (ca. 2 litres)
  • Hiking map of Nuuksio National Park
  • Hiking map of Sipoonkorpi National Park
  • Small first aid -pack which includes: 1 lighter, 1 elastic bandage, 2 adhesive sterile dressings, 1 salve dressing, 1 sterile non-woven fabric pad, 5 skin closures, 4 antiseptic wound towels, 4 X-plasters, 4 square plasters, 6 narrow plasters, 2 wide plasters, 1 cuttable plaster mat
  • Big blanket

You do not have to take all the other equipment with you when renting if you do not need it. You can also select only part of the package. This does not affect the total renting price. The accessories you choose will be noted in the rental agreement. Please read the terms of the rental agreement and the maintenance instructions for the tents and equipment carefully before renting.

Terms of the rental

  1. The lessee is obliged to check the condition of the equipment before renting.
  2. Supplies will be returned in the same or better condition as they were when rented.
  3. The lessee has read the equipment maintenance instructions and undertakes to maintain the supplies properly before return.
  4. Supplies will be returned on time, preferably within the opening hours of the Student Union office. Pick-up and return times will be agreed prior to rental and will be adhered to.
  5. The lessee is obliged to compensate for the equipment damaged and/or lost.

Maintenance

The lessee is responsible for the maintenance of the camping equipment, and the equipment must be returned only after maintenance. So please return the equipment rather late than poorly maintained. Tent fabrics should be dry before packing and returning. Thermoses and pots should be washed before returning.

If damage or defects are found in the equipment, they must be reported to the ArtSU’s office. Considering these things, borrowing is also nice for the next lessee and the equipment stays in good shape for longer.

Maintenance of the tents 

  • Allow the tent fabric to dry thoroughly in a warm place before packing.
  • Check that all supplies are stored.
  • Notify the office if you notice any deficiencies when returning the equipment or to taiyo (at) uniarts.fi taiyo@uniarts.fi
  • NOTE! The tent fabric must be dry before packing and returning it

Maintenance of the pans and other equipment

  • Wash pots and thermoses thoroughly from the inside before returning.
  • Always store campfire pots and pans in a protective bag.
  • Check that all parts are in the first aid kit. If you use something from the package, replace it with a new similar product.
  • Ventilate the blanket thoroughly. If necessary, wash the blanket according to the washing instructions (water wash 30 degrees celsius. DO NOT tumble dry).
  • Fold the maps neatly before returning.
  • NOTE! The tent fabric must be dry before packing and returning it

You can pay with cash and card at ArtSU’s office. The payment happens when renting, not after the renting period.
